Mudslide After Rains in Montecito
First came the Thomas Fire which burned up all of the vegetation on the mountain. Next came the torrential rain which brought trees and mud and rocks down from the mountain into the City of Montecito. It was a horrible mess and a painful memory from our recent past.
SERVPRO of Santa Barbara was proud to be among the first companies that were allowed in to the city to help our neighbors regain their footing. We were very active in doing whatever it took to help these homeowners to get out from under. That included moving significant amounts of mud that was brought down from the mountains and overflowed all of the creek banks.
Moving mud and rocks was not a task that we ever expected to undertake at SERVPRO but we were pleased to be able to show why SERVPRO is such a great company and friend to the community.
